About UsThe Aberdeen, Maryland Chapter of AFCEA is a growing and dynamic, non-profit organization for information technology professionals.

The Chapter's primary mission is serving our community by raising funds to support merit-based scholarships.

With over 400 Members and growing, the chapter serves Aberdeen Proving Ground, three Maryland counties -- Harford, Cecil, Kent -- and Southern Delaware.

The Aberdeen, Maryland chapter of AFCEA is ready to serve the needs of a growing APG community in response to the BRAC directive that will close Fort Monmouth NJ and transfer its activities to APG.

The Chapter hosts monthly luncheon meetings (September-May). We meet at the Top of the Bay on Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, featuring nationally known speakers.

The Chapter hosts an annual Fall Golf tournament held at Ruggles Golf Course located on Aberdeen Proving Ground. All proceeds are used to award financial aid to local deserving students who are interested in perusing Science, Technology, Engineering or Math degrees.
