At each of our monthly lunches, we have exciting speakers discussing current issues and relevant topics concerning our industry and primary customer. In addition, this is a great opportunity to meet many of the local Industry and Government leaders, identify new opportunities and discuss issues relevant to all of us.

There have been several significant changes within AFCEA this year to make it easier for small businesses to benefit and participate in all that AFCEA has to offer. These include:

• Moving the luncheons to a new and larger venue: The Clarion (Aberdeen),
• Opening up additional table sponsorships and specifically half table sponsorships to make it more affordable for small business to participate, and
• Increasing the relationship and communication with our primary customer’s small business office to facilitate an open forum of communication to address the needs of small businesses.

Additionally, we will be continuing our practice of highlighting a Small Business at each of our Monthly Luncheons. There are still a few slots open, but you need to act quickly. This is a great opportunity to make the skills and services of your business more broadly known to our industry and government members. It doesn’t take much time to prepare, and I’m more than happy to help you tailor your presentation and discuss the guidelines in order to assure you have the maximum impact possible.
