High School Program

The goal of the High School program is to reach out to high school students with technology and security briefings to help them prepare for opportunities related to local changes associated with the BRAC. The AFCEA Aberdeen, MD chapter wishes to increase the number of qualified high school and college students entering into the professional community by providing information briefings to each interested High School.

This program will expand our involvement with the high schools, students, and universities. This expanded involvement and networking will enable us to better highlight our industry and enable us to better attract quality students into the intelligence community.

Chapter members will be utilized to provide mentoring support to assist teachers, students, and administrators. Chapter member networks will also be utilized to establish and expand partnerships with high schools, universities, and industry.
