The Young AFCEAns (also fondly known as YACs) are AFCEA (The Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association) members under the age of 40. In order to more closely identify with the needs and interests of its younger members, AFCEA designated YACs as a distinct unit within the AFCEA organization. Young AFCEAns are represented on the local AFCEA Aberdeen Leadership Team (Nicholas Lattanzi and Alyssa Ranson). Just like their fellow AFCEA members, Young AFCEAns network with fellow professionals and participate in the normal activities of the chapter.

We are establishing the Sports & Social Club with the goal to provide Young AFCEAns the opportunity to network with professionals and participate in activities in a laid back and fun atmosphere. The initial launch of the Sports & Social Club will be the establishment of a Kickball team this spring. We anticipate additional activities throughout the year to include YAC Social Hours , Technology Over Bagels , YAC Crab Feast @ Ripken Stadium, and participation in the Harford County Farm Fair.

Administered through Play Action Sports, facilitating Year round, coed, sports leagues
for adults 21 and over in Harford County

Coaches Meeting - Tuesday, May 4, 2010 @ 8pm at Magerks
Season - May 6 - June 17 & 18, 2010 (Thursdays)
(June 1 & June 15 - Rain out make up dates)
