in Youth from our Community.

The AFCEA Aberdeen Chapter has teamed up with Aberdeen Proving Ground and Northeastern Maryland Technology Council to provide a ready workforce for our STEM based economy. There are several ways you can get involved that require minimum time commitment, but create a positive impact for our students and community!

Participate in our "STEM and Beyond" Nights which will be held at Cecil and Harford County schools to excite students in grades from K-12 .

Become a Mentor - The Northeastern Maryland students and teachers need mentors and volunteers to support their STEM education goals

A simple skills inventory to gather information on potential volunteers who are available to support this endeavor throughout the community has been developed. It only takes 10 minutes to fill out and does not commit you to anything. The information will allow students and teachers an understanding of the resources available to them and networking opportunities with individuals who possess the skills they are seeking.
